The Old Mine House

The fish is amazing! Waitress was very nice and the food was served faster than the average food establishment. Will definitely be eating there again.

Nice non-smoking in front restaurant/bar with in a 10 min walk perfect for eating between Central High School's Rebel Invitational band contest prelim and final rounds. Very crowded for dinner with a small amount of tables with mostly out of town band visitors. Salad was great with a nice mix of cheeses. The Chicken Philly and seasoned fries were very good. Kitchen was a bit backed up with the full house. Bathrooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly. Menus were a little beat up but were readable.

The food and service at the Old Mine House was excellent. The waitstaff friendly and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant overall was clean. We will Definitely be back.

Came into the establishment this afternoon to get lunch and was immediately overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke as soon as my girlfriend and I walked through the door. I’ve noted in other reviews it mentions a non- smoking environment and was disappointed that this doesn’t seem to be true. We sat down and was greeted kindly (service doesn’t seem to be an issue). We ordered our drinks, got menus, and looked through them to end up not being interested in what was served. We decided it was best to leave since we both started to get headaches from the strong odor. I don’t know if this is just a one off day or not but what I was presented with in my time there, I will not be back to this place of business. Customers should not have to sit and smell cigarette smoke while trying to enjoy their lunch.

Food was good, the Cajun fried pickles were awesome and so were the crawfish beignets for appetizers. I had the bbq wings which were sauced a bit heavy but still good. The setting was nice, although a few smokers came in toward the end of our visit which is expected since it is a bar and grill. Overall good experience will visit again.

The food is delicious 😋. Recommend the homemade pub chips. Nachos are 🔥 so good. Atmosphere is easy going. Carry out or Dine in, you won't be disappointed.
